Joey & John will bring back the memories and add variety to any occasion, bar, restaurant, festival or concert with their musical presentations:
AFTER FIVE with Joey & John: In his book, Intimate Nights: The Golden Age of New York Cabaret, James Gavin brings back to life, the atmosphere of the glamorous Manhattan nightclubs of the late 1940s through the 1960s...Le Ruban Bleu, the Blue Angel, the Bon Soir...and the singers, the songs and the club owners who created the mystique of cabaret. This book holds a prominent position on the bookcases in their home...and Joey and John hope to recreate the romance of this era with their scheduled performances CABARET at the GRANDE at the Genesee Grande Hotel. Listen to samples from their newest CD, After Five, and find out more about CABARET at the GRANDE on the After Five page of this website: joeyandjohn.com/after-five-cabaret.html.

A smooth and accomplished singer, she is known for her vocal range and versatility! With her strong dramatic sense and cabaret style, she can charm you as a "50's girl-singer," growl a blues tune, seductively purr a torch song, belt out a Broadway showstopper, drawl a Patsy Cline heart breaker, or wail a rock and roll tune!
Joey is a charter (and founding) board member of the Syracuse Area Landmark Theatre and a graduate of S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. After working in media/publishing in Manhattan early in her career, Joey took the opportunity to return to that field as co-host and co-producer of Ciao! an Italian American radio program on WCNY Classic FM (91.3 on your FM dial) which airs every Sunday at noon. She shares the mic with co-host Jim Battaglia playing great Italian American and Italian music and featuring an endless variety of topics! John is co-producer of this fun, fun radio show (www.wcny.org/radio). She maintains her ties to New York City as a member of the Manhattan Association of Cabaret Artists and is an avid supporter of the great talent keeping cabaret, this intimate form of entertainment alive.
